Local detailsBecause the answer genuinely changes from one municipality to the next, and for reasons that have more to do with routing and housing than distance.
The most consequential is the county line. Our service area crosses Cabarrus, Mecklenburg and Stanly counties, plus the Rowan edge, and disposal routes differently in each. A job in Harrisburg and one in Huntersville are only a few miles apart but route to different facilities, and that shows up in the quote.
The second is the housing. Concord runs from mill-era and pre-war homes in the older centres to brand-new subdivisions on the growing edges. The older stock gives up dense demolition debris that wants a smaller container; the newer stock gives up bulky, light material that wants a larger one. Which neighbourhood you are in changes the sizing advice.
The third is placement. Downtown Concord's historic streets, the tight mill-house lots in Kannapolis, and the long rural approaches out toward Midland and Mount Pleasant each bring their own access quirks. Each area page below covers the routing, the sizing and what to expect on the ground.
